Megan Thee Stallion – Suga

Megan Thee Stallion is going through some industry drama right now, as she claims that her label, ‘1501 Certified Entertainment,’ have been preventing her from releasing music.

However, all that aside, Megan has managed to deliver a new 9-track set, ‘Suga.’

Megan announced the quick release with the dope, ‘B.I.T.C.H.:’

The track, which recently got a video, delivers as Megan successfully (and boldly) pulls a 2Pac classic out of the archives for an update.

The album splits down into two parts, as the opening tracks see Megan coming savage with the confident, sexy, taking-no-shorts wordplay, right up to the hard-hitting, ‘Rich.’

However, the final three tracks have Megan switching things up with an auto-tuned R&B feel, as she calls on Timbaland and The Neptunes for the production heat.

While these final tracks have a more saccharine feel, they still look set to warm up playlists as Spring beckons.

All told, Megan knows to keep things moving on this sharp release, as the tracks drop fast and roll out before getting tired.

This gives Megan plenty of time to shine, as she calls on just two guests, Gunna (‘Stop Playing’) and Kehlani (‘Hit My Phone’).

Despite the label woes, Megan Thee Stallion continues to show why she is one of the brightest lights in hip-hop right now…
