Although 2017 saw him collaborate on ‘Friday On Elm Street’ with Fabolous, Jadakiss is back with his first solo release since 2015’s ‘Dead or Alive.’
While ‘Kiss didn’t call on Fab for the 13-track ‘Ignatius,’ he certainly called on some other heavy hitters for his latest Def Jam full-length.
Jadakiss announced the album with the single, ‘ME:’
Which was followed up with the Rick Ross and Emanny-featuring, ‘Kisses to the Sky:’
Other guests include Pusha T, Ty Dolla Sign, 2 Chainz, Dej Loaf, John Legend, and Jada also offers some shine to Nino Man, Millyz and Chayse (they don’t disappoint!).
Clocking in at around 46-minutes, ‘Ignatius’ doesn’t leave time for filler material, yet ‘Kiss manages to keep the balance between the streets and more commercial flavor while keeping his O.G. New York hip-hop status intact.
Long-time fans will know what to expect from Jadakiss’ fifth studio album, even as he continues to develop to keep pace with hip-hop in 2020…
