It’s a shame that this young man had to die to hit the Billboard charts. In the words of Biggie; ‘You’re nobody ’til somebody kills you.’ It should not be that way, but we hope Pop’s family is proud of his accomplishments here. Rest EZ, Pop Smoke.
While the Brooklyn rapper made an appearance on the chart previously, with the JACKBOYS and Travis Scott track “GATTI,” Pop’s “Dior” currently sits at No. 49, snug between Migos, Young Thug and Travis Scott‘s “Give No Fux,” and Lil Baby‘s “Sum 2 Prove.”
Additionally, following his passing on February 19, “Dior” racked up 5.2 million streams, showing a 467% spike from 909,000 a day prior. The track with the highest increase is “Better Have You Gun,” which saw a 783% spike. – HU Staff: Ariela Anís @ari.anis
