It’s a shame that this young man had to die to hit the Billboard charts. In the words of Biggie; ‘You’re nobody ’til somebody kills you.’ It should not be that way, but we hope Pop’s family is proud of his accomplishments here. Rest EZ, Pop Smoke.

Since his tragic murder, Pop Smoke continues living out his legacy through his music, which has seen a spike in streams, about 392%, and includes a posthumous debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, with his hit “Dior.”

While the Brooklyn rapper made an appearance on the chart previously, with the JACKBOYS and Travis Scott track “GATTI,” Pop’s “Dior” currently sits at No. 49, snug between Migos, Young Thug and Travis Scott‘s “Give No Fux,” and Lil Baby‘s “Sum 2 Prove.”
